AAJ Podcast: Between Heaven & Hell – The Film (Jim Buchholz)

July 8, 2016

The C.S. Lewis Minute blog began back in late 2011 as a way for me to share my renewed interest in reading books by C.S. Lewis. This eventual lead to interviewing a variety of book authors and another place online to combine everything. EssentialCSLewis.com now supersedes this blog, but because a lot of people are still following it, I occasionally post here to remind those of what’s available there.

From my All About Jack Podcast –

Between HandHIs death the end of life? What if three people who died on the same day had a chance to discuss this? As you might know, on November 22, 1963 John F. Kennedy, C.S. Lewis and Aldous Huxley died. The book Between Heaven and Hell provides an imaginary conversation between the three who viewed life very differently. So, what would they talk about? Jim Buchholz wants to take this fascinating approach and make a big screen movie out of it. He has secured the rights to the book, has a screenplay and crew all ready and now needs some funding to move it forward. How will the movie be different from the book in a good way? Why does Jim believe he has the experience to make it? These and other questions are answered in the interview.
