Devin Brown Interview (The Christian World of The Hobbit)

Devin Brown has written several books dealing with The Chronicles of Narnia, and just releasing next month is The Christian World of The Hobbit. Devin is a Professor of English at Asbury University in Kentucky. William O’Flaherty had a chance to speak with him recently about the new book and some issues related to C.S. Lewis.

I really enjoyed the heroes journey and taking me away from this world to another place that seems so real or could be.
Tough journey’s are worth the trouble.
I loved the innocence with which Bilbo starts out, his trust in Gandor, and how he gradually becomes stronger and stronger, from that trust.
